Sequoia Forrest is a writer, creative producer, and emerging filmmaker with a devoted interest in human-centered storytelling. With a background that crosses genres and mediums, including digital content, her work often explores the inner world and its complexities, everyday moments that unfold into something bigger, and reality just a few degrees off-kilter.  

She is currently developing original stories for screen and print, and has experience in both solo and collaborative production and intentional creative practice. Sequoia is especially drawn to projects that expand the canon of cultural storytelling and bring the full spectrum of human experience and imagination to the forefront. She believes in the power of well-crafted stories to comfort, surprise, inspire, delight, and sometimes shift what we think we know about one another.
